Love in Alicante

Published by Rick in Europe on January 4th, 2012 | No Comments »

I was touring around Europe and I met someone unexpectedly. She was as beautiful as when the sun rises. My breadth was stolen by her beauty and I thought it was love at first sight. I had never met a girl outside the U.S. before and was sure she wouldn’t notice me. Alas, she walked up to me and gave me her number. She was headed to Alicante, Spain and wanted me to join her. I couldn’t say no because I knew that this was the real thing. She was a blonde, robust, intelligent woman who could speak English just as good as I. The Alicante hotels were nice and was exactly where we stayed. The scenery in Alicante, Spain was unlike any other place in the world. This was truly one of the best weekends of my life and I ended up marrying her the following week. Talk about a crazy trip to Europe.

The Gay and Lesbian Scene in Stuttgart

Published by Rick in Cities on October 19th, 2011 | No Comments »

Stuttgart is fast becoming Germany’s hippest and most cosmopolitan place to enjoy the gay and lesbian scene. The range of clubs and pubs that are crammed full almost every night of the week with fun-loving and hedonistic revellers is top notch. Everyone is made welcome and the atmosphere in the drinking holes would be hard to beat anywhere else in Europe.

Don’t forget to take your most outrageous outfits with you on your trip. The people here in Germany take dressing up for the occasion to the limits. And that is just where the fun starts. Let your hair down, feel part of the crowd, and most of all, take in every minute of pure madness. Possibly the best mixed dance club is Kings Club but Zap and Jenseitz have also risen in popularity in recent months.

There are at least seventy-five Stuttgart hotels to choose from when you plan your visit to the capital of Baden-Wurttemberg, all of which are reasonably priced. I would however, highly recommend that you use one of the hugely discounted ‘late booking’ hotel web sites that consistently offer huge discounts room prices before choosing a place to stay.

Watching football in Manchester

Football it is the great past time for many countries, and nothing pleases me more than to travel and watch how other countries enjoy this infamous sport. One of the best places I have found to witness this chaotic, unpredictable spectacle is Manchester England.

The feeling of watching football in another country is indescribable. And plus the escape to this region of the world gives me a chance to utilize the great Manchester escorts. Of course the main reason I am there is catch a good game in a region I am fond of, but the escorts are the reason I stay for a while. There are many great agencies in the area as well, which for me makes everything very convenient.

It’s my general philosophy that if you are looking for a good time venture over to Manchester. Watch a few games and call whatever escort service you like.

Making massages a part of life

A girls night out was definitely needed after a stressful week at home. Many people do not believe a housewife’s life can be stressful too. Especially when you have kids living at home full time and are constantly cleaning and making sure they are not getting into anything. The girls surprised me with a massage for relaxation at a local spa. I have never had a massage before and was looking forward to it. The professional massage therapists were very nice and the atmosphere was relaxing. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed every second of it. From the tranquil music to the aroma of candles, it was amazing. This was the best present I could have ever received. After this massage, We made it a routine outing to get massages more often. It really made a huge difference in my life and definitely reduced stress. There is nothing like a London massage.

Primary Studies in Literacy

Published by Rick in School on September 22nd, 2011 | No Comments »

The literacy KS2 lessons for students from age 7 through 11 should be focused on reading and writing, but without the basic skills of using the language of instruction in hearing and speaking orally, many students will fail to acheive even a minimum level of literacy in England. These skills are fundamental to passing examinations down the road when students enter the higher levels. In other words, primary level students must acquire the basic ability to speak, listen and comprehend, as well as learning to read and write.

When these skills are mastered early, by teachers noticing each student’s area of personal struggle, primary students have more of an advantage to function at a higher level in all areas of studies. When literacy is acknowledged as the very basis for all education, with the earliest lessons including playing and talking, all students will experience the benefits of developing language skills.

My Husband’s Secret Addiction Nearly Destroyed Me

Published by Rick in Addiction on August 29th, 2011 | No Comments »

The night that I discovered my husband having phone sex was the most painful night of my life. The pain was worse than childbirth. At least with childbirth there is a precious little baby that makes all the pain disappear. As a matter of fact, our love life had really improved, not that it was ever bad.

As I finished nursing the baby and put him down for a nap, I could hear my husband talking on the phone. Concerned that something was wrong with one of our aging parents, I walked down the hallway. His words became very clear. Quickly, I snatched the phone from his hands and slammed it in the receiver. Crying, I ran down the hall and locked the bedroom door behind me. Stuart began to pound on the door. How could I ever let him back into my bedroom or my heart for that matter?

St. Philip’s Cathedral: the church that good sense saved

Published by Rick in Travel on July 12th, 2011 | No Comments »

While many English cathedrals lost their stained glass during World War II, St. Philip’s Cathedral in Birmingham did not. The Birmingham Civic Society removed them to a safe place early in the war, so when the cathedral was bombed out on November 7, 1940, the famous windows by Edward Burne-Jones were untouched. After the war the building was renovated and the windows replaced. Visitors can still see them today. The original 1711 organ was also removed, although not until after the bombing. Reinstalled in 1948 and renovated in 1993, it can still be heard today.

St. Philip’s is one of the smallest cathedrals in Britain, well worth a visit with some Birmingham escorts. Designed by Thomas Archer and built in the Baroque style in between 1711 and 1758, the rectangular hall is lined with fluted pillars to which wooden galleries are attached. It is open to the public 365 days per year.

The best places to shop in London is at open-air markets. Camden and Notting Hill host two of the best markets in the city. Camden’s is daily while the major Notting Hill market is on the weekends. At these markets you will find the same touristy treasures you want to take home to family and friends (such as key chains, British telephone boxes and tea) but for a cheaper price. You will also find the latest styles and accessories that all the Londoners are wearing. Markets are the best places to find antiques as well. Keep in mind while shopping at open-air markets that you can barter with the sellers to get an even cheaper price. Don’t be afraid to get a cheaper price just because you are a tourist, go with some London escorts if you feel unconfident.
